A last mirrored glimpse –

vanity appeased –

a vision realized,

the bride of my dreams.

Wholly committed,

adornments in place,

I seek the altar

‘neath a covered face.

Obedience – my pledge –

my will freely giv’n.

My body – his; all

others forsaken.
